Envivio Muse(TM) Encoders and Envivio Halo(TM) Network Media Processors Power Live Channels for Blink OTT Service


SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., Feb. 11, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Envivio (Nasdaq:ENVI), a leading provider of software-based video processing and delivery solutions, today announced that Envivio Muse™ encoders and Envivio Halo™ network media processors (NMP) have been deployed by Omni for live streaming of premium content as part of the new blink TV service in the Philippines. The recently launched over-the-top (OTT) video service offers Hollywood blockbuster films, TV shows and other premium content to viewers in the Philippines via a subscription or a la carte model for viewing on PCs, tablets and mobile phones.

blink TV has acquired rights to live stream several channels including sports, shopping and drama—plus more than 500 movies and thousands of hours of television shows and other programming are currently available for on-demand viewing.
