Media Alert: Mayor Martin J. Walsh to Explore New Models of Digital Learning in Partnership With Boston's edtech Leaders at LearnLaunch


BOSTON, MA--(Marketwired - Feb 11, 2014) - Mayor Martin J. Walsh and senior staff will visit LearnLaunch, New England's leading edtech organization, to discuss new models for public-private partnership to improve education and support the creation of new edtech companies. He will meet with LearnLaunch founders, participate in demonstrations of newly developed technologies, and address the education innovation community.

Located in Boston's Back Bay, LearnLaunch is home to more than 35 edtech companies and 100 entrepreneurs. On Monday, its accelerator program, LearnLaunchX announced that seven innovative education companies had been selected to participate in the three-month program of intensive coaching and mentoring.
