HONOLULU, Feb. 14, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Berry Company, LLC announced its sponsorship of the 2014 Kaiser Permanente Great Aloha Run. The event is held February 17 in Honolulu. The Berry Company is sponsoring First Aid Station #2 at Pu'uloa Road.
Over the past 29 years, more than $10 million has been distributed to 150 nonprofit organizations through the Great Aloha Run. The event is produced for the people, by the people, with more than 4,000 volunteers and 20,000 participants, and it's the largest locally based event giving individual donations to the community.

The 8.15-mile course starts at Aloha Tower in downtown Honolulu, winds its way along the historic harbor, down Nimitz Highway, Kamehameha Highway and on to Aloha Stadium.
