Giving Library selects Christel House

INDIANAPOLIS, Feb. 18, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Giving Library, an online video archive that connects donors to nonprofits, has selected Christel House International (CHI) as one of its newest participants. The Giving Library's mission is to help donors discover nonprofits that meet their specific interests and make secure donations.

"We are enormously grateful to The Giving Library for profiling Christel House," said Bobbi Bosch, Vice President – Development and Marketing for Christel House. "Its video production team helped us tell our story effectively. We feel this video will help our supporters understand and connect with our work."

The Giving Library hosts videos featuring more than 850 nonprofit organizations. These have been created to help potential donors better understand an organization's mission and programs. Donors may also make donations directly through The Giving Library's site and share nonprofits' stories through social media networks.

"The Giving Library is being used by foundation grantmakers and individual donors who seek a more efficient, interactive, and engaging method of charitable giving," said Kerry Vaughan, Manager of the Giving Library. "We're very excited to give donors a number of high-quality donation options."

In addition, nonprofits' videos will also be featured on their GuideStar, Charity Navigator, JustGive and GreatNonprofits profiles.

CHI's profile can be viewed at: http://www.givinglibrary.org/organizations/Christel-House-International. Prospective donors may click the 'Share Now' button to share CHI's profile and the Giving Library will then provide a $5 donation for each share.
