NeuroSearch A/S (NEUR) announces that the Danish Business Authority has made a decision concerning the control of the company's annual report for the financial year 2012.
In its decision, the Danish Business Authority points out that in the 2012 financial statements NeuroSearch incorrectly classified the proceeds from the sale of the Huntexil®project as revenue, in that the proceeds ought to have been classified as gain from divestment of intellectual property.
On the basis of the decision, NeuroSearch will issue an adjusted annual report.
The adjustment does not affect neither the company's results, equity nor the cash flows, while it is merely a question of reclassification of the sale of the Huntexil®project from revenue to gain from divestment of intellectual property in 2012 and 2013.
Outlook for 2014
In 2014, NeuroSearch still expects an operating loss at approximately DKK 10 million. The expectations do not take into account any losses or gains which may result from a potential sale of the remaining assets of the company.
