BROOMFIELD, Colo., Feb. 24, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Biomet, Inc., a global leader in the manufacturing of musculoskeletal and biotechnology products, today announced the Company will host a job fair March 6-7, 2014 at its Spine Division Headquarters in Broomfield, Colo. to meet qualified candidates for available positions across multiple departments, with the goal of significant growth within the community. Biomet is on target to create 50 new jobs in the community.

The newly-integrated Biomet and Lanx teams form a stronger spine presence as Biomet Spine. The Company is united to provide opportunities for expanded product development efforts, commitments to medical education and training and distribution of innovative technologies around the world as well as deepened commitment to research and compelling clinical data for new technologies.

During the event, qualified applicants from the surrounding communities will have the opportunity to speak with Biomet employees and learn about new positions available. Biomet is looking to fill more than 50 new positions across departments at the Spine Division Headquarters, including Finance, Information Technology, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Operations and Engineering. Community members should apply prior to the event via the Biomet website.
