Hexis Cyber Solutions Launches Worldwide Security Channel Program

Full Spectrum Threat Removal Pioneer Names Security Veteran Patrick Reilly Vice President of Worldwide Sales

HANOVER, Md., Feb. 26, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Hexis Cyber Solutions, Inc. (Hexis), a wholly-owned subsidiary of The KEYW Holding Corporation (Nasdaq:KEYW), today announced the launch of its new Worldwide Security Channel Program, which is designed to extend the company's security footprint while providing sales and marketing resources to reseller partners throughout the world. In addition, the company named technology and security veteran Patrick Reilly Vice President of Worldwide Sales, where he will lead Hexis' international channel growth and expansion.

As illustrated by recent high profile breaches, advanced cyber attack methods are forcing enterprise organizations to change their approach to security. Leading security executives understand that traditional perimeter-based solutions are not enough; organizations need better ways to detect the advanced threat once it is in the network then automatically remove it at machine speed; before sensitive data is compromised. Through Hexis' innovative HawkEye G technology, organizations can leverage existing security investments to identify, engage and remove malicious threats quickly and effectively.

With its new security-focused channel program, Hexis is working with partners throughout Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the Asia-Pacific region to provide enterprise customers with access to the HawkEye family of products and services, including HawkEye AP and HawkEye G. In addition, the company is increasing its channel presence in the Americas by developing new partnerships throughout North and South America. Under this initiative, Hexis will work with new and existing channel partners to eliminate sales conflict by moving toward a 100 percent channel sales model.

As part of the new channel initiatives, Hexis is creating a Market Development Fund (MDF) program to support its reseller partners. The program will have three tiers and allow partners to co-sell and co-market Hexis technology. The Hexis sales team will work with both national and regional resellers to provide evaluations programs, sales forecasting, management reviews and training. In addition, channel partners will also have access to KEYW's Parrot Labs training, which will provide customers, prospects and partners with the latest techniques for identifying and intercepting sophisticated attacks.

"Since its launch, Hexis Cyber Solutions has received a tremendous response from the cybersecurity community, which recognizes the company's unique ability to identity and remove advanced threats from the enterprise," said Patrick Reilly, Vice President of Worldwide Sales for Hexis Cyber Solutions. "Our team's hands-on approach to threat detection using techniques derived from supporting national security efforts, combined with in-depth big data analytics technology, enables Hexis to provide full-spectrum threat removal capabilities that are unmatched in the industry. I look forward to working with new and existing channel partners to lead the expansion of Hexis' worldwide security footprint while highlighting the innovation behind HawkEye G."

With 30 years of technology and security experience, Mr. Reilly is an expert in building channel, sales and marketing organizations. As Vice President of Worldwide Sales for Hexis, Mr. Reilly is responsible for developing and managing the international channel program, while identifying new global partners and growth opportunities. Prior to Hexis, he was the Executive Vice President of Worldwide Field Operations at Resilient Network Systems and Vice President of Worldwide Sales at Proximex (sold to ADT/Tyco). Previously, Mr. Reilly held vice president of sales and business development positions at Broadware Technologies (sold to Cisco Systems), CloudShield Technologies (sold to SAIC), and Cylink (sold to Safenet).
