SANTA CLARA, Calif., Feb. 26, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Neonode Inc., (Nasdaq:NEON), the optical touch technology company, today announced that it has hired Clarence King as the Director for the Company's rapidly-emerging PC business.
Mr. King has 33 years of experience at Hewlett Packard (NYSE:HPQ), where he was a senior engineer and program manager in HP's printer, optical imaging, and consumer electronics businesses. Most recently, Mr. King was the Senior PM of Hewlett-Packard's Control Panel unit, which was responsible for integrating human interface solutions into HP's market-leading inkjet printers.
In addition, Mr. King possesses a BSEE from Cal-Polytechnic, an MS in Computer Engineering from San Diego State, and an MS in Technical Japanese from University of Wisconsin.
In his new role, Mr. King will be overseeing Neonode's technical involvement and relations with all PC customers. This includes OEMs and ODMs in the notebook (Microsoft Windows and Google Chrome), desktop (Windows and Chrome), and large-screen monitor end markets.
