On February 26, 2014, Mr Dr.-Ing. E. h. Frank Asbeck, Deutschland has
informed us according to Article 21, Section 1 of the WpHG that via shares
his Voting Rights on SolarWorld AG, Bonn, Deutschland, have exceeded the
3%, 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, 30% and 50% threshold of the Voting Rights on
February 25, 2014 and on that day amounted to 70.73% (this corresponds to
10536434 Voting Rights).
19.50% of Voting Rights (this corresponds to 2904720 Voting Rights) are
attributed to Mr Asbeck in accordance with Article 22, Section 1, Sentence
1, No. 1 of the WpHG (German Securities Trading Act). Attributed Voting
Rights are held by the following companies under his control, whose share
of the Voting Rights in SolarWorld AG amounts to 3 percent or more: Solar
Holding Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH, Bonn, Deutschland.
51.05% of Voting Rights (this corresponds to 7604357 Voting Rights) are
attributed to Mr Asbeck in accordance with Article 22, Section 2, WpHG
(German Securities Trading Act). Attributed Voting Rights are held by the
following companies under his control, whose share of the Voting Rights in
SolarWorld AG amounts to 3 percent or more: Qatar Solar S.P.C., Doha,
Qatar, Itom Investment S.Ã r.l., Luxemburg, Luxemburg.
