On February 26, 2014, Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community
Development, Doha, Qatar has informed us according to Article 21, Section 1
of the WpHG that via shares its Voting Rights on SolarWorld AG, Bonn,
Deutschland, have exceeded the 3%, 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, 30% and 50%
threshold of the Voting Rights on February 25, 2014 and on that day
amounted to 70.73% (this corresponds to 10536434 Voting Rights).
29.00% of Voting Rights (this corresponds to 4319840 Voting Rights) are
attributed to the company in accordance with Article 22, Section 1,
Sentence 1, No. 1 of the WpHG (German Securities Trading Act). Attributed
Voting Rights are held by the following companies under its control, whose
share of the Voting Rights in SolarWorld AG amounts to 3 percent or more:
Qatar Solar S.P.C., Doha, Qatar.
41.73% of Voting Rights (this corresponds to 6216594 Voting Rights) are
attributed to the company in accordance with Article 22, Section 2, WpHG
(German Securities Trading Act). Attributed Voting Rights are held by the
following companies under its control, whose share of the Voting Rights in
SolarWorld AG amounts to 3 percent or more: Solar Holding
Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH, Bonn, Deutschland and Itom Investment S.Ã
