First Financial Northwest, Inc. Announces Quarterly Cash Dividend


RENTON, Wash., Feb. 28, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- First Financial Northwest, Inc. (the "Company") (Nasdaq:FFNW), the holding company for First Savings Bank Northwest ("Bank"), today announced that its Board of Directors has declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.05 per share on the Company's outstanding common stock. The cash dividend will be payable on March 28, 2014, to shareholders of record as of the close of business on March 14, 2014.

The Board of Directors also announced that it had amended the Company's bylaws to reduce the size of its Board of Directors from eight (8) to seven (7) members in connection with the previously announced resignation of Director Robert L. Anderson. The Bylaw amendment will be effective at the conclusion of the Company's next annual meeting of shareholders, tentatively scheduled to be held on June 25, 2014.
