Manitou Springs Implements Summer Parking Hours

DENVER, March 3, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Standard Parking, SP+ Municipal Services, in conjunction with the City of Manitou Springs, today announced the implementation of the city's Summer Parking Hours.

According to the city's annual parking calendar, paid parking is set to return beginning Monday, March 10 between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m., seven days a week. Note 15-minute free parking once daily is available for those running a quick errand in Downtown Manitou Springs. Please make sure to input your license plate number into one of the convenient on-street kiosks and select the option, including free parking, that suits your needs. The winter schedule, which includes enforcement from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and three-hour free parking on Mondays through Thursdays, will no longer be in effect after that date.

The Manitou Springs Parking Authority Board page on the City's website contains complete information regarding the Parking Program and serves as a central resource for questions regarding parking in the City of Manitou Springs.

John D. Conway, Vice President/Regional Manager of Standard Parking's Colorado operations stated, "We continue to work with the City of Manitou Springs to create affordable parking rates throughout the year. As the spring and summer tourist season begins, the program will help provide short-term parking on-street and longer-term parking in the public lots for the patrons of businesses located in Manitou Springs."

Standard Parking and SP+ Municipal Services are part of SP+ Corporation, one of the leading service providers to the commercial, institutional and municipal real estate markets. Complete information can be found at http://spplus.com.
