Baillie Gifford & Co, Edinburgh, UK, has informed us on February 27, 2014,
in accordance with section 21 para.1 WpHG (German Securities Trading Act)
that its share in the voting rights of SÜSS MicroTec AG, Garching, Germany,
exceeded the 3% threshold on February 26, 2014 and now amounts to 3.003%
(Amount of Shares: 574,032). 1.275% of the voting rights (243,632 voting
rights) are attributed to it in accordance with section 22 para. 1 sentence
1 no. 6 of the WpHG and 1.728% of the voting rights (330,400 voting rights)
are attributed to it in accordance with section 22 para. 1 sentence 1 no. 6
and section 22 para. 1 sentence 2 of the WpHG (via Baillie Gifford Overseas
Limited).
