Prime Design Announces New Models for RAM ProMaster

WEST ST. PAUL, Minn., March 4, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- In advance of the 2014 NTEA Work Truck Show, Prime Design, a Safe Fleet Brand, announces availability of more than 30 different ladder rack models to fit the seven new RAM ProMaster configurations.

"We have ladder racks that carry a 6-foot step ladder, a 40-foot extension ladder, and anything in between," said Larry Bertrand, Prime Design Product Manager. "Since all of our ladder rack models are aluminum, this means drivers can carry more ladder weight compared to steel solutions. It also means they don't have to deal with the unsightly mess that rust leaves behind."

Prime Design ladder racks optimize ergonomics through leverage, positioning and smooth, hydraulic assistance. This combination eliminates operators from having to climb on a tire or bumper – actions that can lead to an accident and recordable injuries.

Prime Design's seven full-time territory managers work with customers to determine the best ladder rack model to meet their unique job requirements.

Several territory managers will be on hand March 5-7th, at the 2014 NTEA Work Truck Show in Indianapolis, IN. Interested parties can meet territory managers in booth #2143 where they can also obtain a firsthand demonstration of the ladder rack.

"Safe Fleet and Prime Design are committed to reducing injuries and improving operator safety and productivity," said Don Fishel, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Safe Fleet.

Safe Fleet Acquisition Corp. was formed as a holding company in October 2013, when the Sterling Group acquired and combined R·O·M and Specialty Manufacturing (SMI). The combined company, based in Belton, MO., is the leading provider of safety solutions for fleet vehicles.
