LTX-Credence Board Promotes Mark J. Gallenberger to the Position of Senior Vice President, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer


NORWOOD, Mass., March 4, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- LTX-Credence Corporation (Nasdaq:LTXC), today announced that its Board of Directors has promoted Mark J. Gallenberger to the position of Senior Vice President, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer, effective as of March 1, 2014. The Board did so in recognition of the significant contributions Mr. Gallenberger has made to the Company and for the further expansion of his responsibilities following the acquisition of Multitest, Everett Charles Technologies and atg-Luther & Maelzer. Mr. Gallenberger has been with Company since the year 2000 when he joined LTX as Vice President, Chief Financial Officer. Following the acquisition of Multitest, Everett Charles Technologies and atg-Luther & Maelzer, his responsibilities have expanded to include all core business operations across the entire combined Company. These core business operations include manufacturing, finance, investor relations and corporate communications, information technology, human resources and quality management. He will also continue in his role as Company Treasurer.

Prior to joining LTX, Mr. Gallenberger was a vice president with Ernst & Young's consulting practice. During his six years with Ernst & Young, Mr. Gallenberger established the Deals & Acquisitions Group, where he was involved in numerous domestic and international strategic acquisitions, joint ventures, alliances and equity investments. Mr. Gallenberger holds a master's degree in business administration from Northwestern University's Kellogg Graduate School of Management and a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology. He is also a member of the Board of Directors for Data/IO (Nasdaq:DAIO).
