The management of JSC „Valmieras stikla šķiedra” informs, that at the moment there is no reason to be worried about the reduction in company’s total turnover, influenced by the political and economic situation in Ukraine.
The export rate to Ukraine last year was at 1% of the total sales volume of the company whereas the export to Russia reached the 7% level from the total turnover last year. The production of JSC „Valmieras stikla šķiedra” is being exported to 37 countries worldwide and the largest export markets are the European Union (71%) and North America (14%). Worth mentioning the sales to Russia and other markets at the moment are realised as planned.
The management of „JSC Valmieras stikla šķiedra”, through current positions, points, that the happenings in Ukraine can’t have a dominant influence on the company’s business results. The unconsolidated and provisional data of JSC „Valmieras stikla šķiedra” shows that the production sales in January and February reached EUR 15.16 Million and that’s about 11% more as in the same period of 2013 and for 16% more as planned.
