Butler Snow Law Firm Expands Birmingham Office

19 Attorneys Join as Firm Continues Focus on Strategic Growth to Better Serve Clients

BIRMINGHAM, Ala., March 5, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Butler Snow has expanded the firm's Birmingham office as 19 attorneys join the firm, bringing the total number of attorneys in Birmingham to 24 and nearly 280 firm-wide.

Attorney's joining Butler Snow's Birmingham office are Brad S. Anderson, Austin A. Averitt, James C. Barton, Jr., Katie Boyd Britt, Sarah E. Hoffmann, Russell L. Irby, Michael H. Johnson, David R. Kinman, Jerome K. Lanning, Henry Sprott Long III, Margaret H. Loveman, Alan D. Mathis, Bradley C. Mayhew, Randall D. McClanahan, Angie Godwin McEwen, T. Kurt Miller, E. Alston Ray, J. William Rose, Jr. and Caroline D. Walker. They join Helen Kathryn Downs, who recently joined the firm, and four others in the Birmingham office.

Last month Butler Snow announced a significant expansion of its Public Finance, Tax Incentives and Credit Markets Practice Group with five attorneys joining the firm in Denver and four joining in Atlanta and Macon, Georgia. The firm also expanded into New York recently with the addition of Stanford G. Ladner, also a member of the firm's Public Finance, Tax Incentives and Credit Markets Group who joined with David M. Cohen, a member of the firm's Product Liability, Mass Tort and Environmental Group.
