DSI Oxon Hill Invites Community to Tour Newly Remodeled Clinic

Patients, physicians and the public are invited to the facility on March 6th.


OXON HILL, Md., March 5, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- DSI Renal, a leading provider of dialysis services for patients suffering from chronic kidney failure, invites members of the community to tour the newly remodeled DSI Oxon Hill facility on March 6, 2014 from 4:00pm-7:00pm. Dialysis patients, their families and physicians in the Oxon Hill and surrounding areas are invited to tour this brand new facility. Members of the media are also welcome to attend.

"Our focus is on patient care and the quality of how they receive it," said Jason Gunter, Chief Operating Officer of DSI Renal. "Our patients spend 3-4 hours, 3 times a week receiving treatment in our clinics, providing a more up-to-date facility ensures our commitment to the patients and their overall experience when they step into a DSI clinic."

DSI Oxon Hill Dialysis clinic started the renovation process in mid 2012, completing the project in the beginning of 2013.  The facility, located at 5410 Indian Head Highway, went from 16 in-center hemodialysis stations to 21 stations, along with an isolation room.  Currently DSI Oxon Hill serves 85 patients living with End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) in the Oxon Hill area.  Patients at the clinic have access to individual flat-screen TVs, wireless internet access, free parking, and is in close proximity to the Washington, D.C. area.  Led by Medical Director Mohammed Youshauddin, M.D., the clinic operates on Monday-Saturday from 5:15am-8:00pm.

The Oxon Hill facility is currently accepting new patients, and anyone considering treatment at the facility or interested in meeting the clinic team is encouraged to attend the open house.
