ABLV Bank mortgage loans service – in new premises


Riga, Latvia, 2014-03-07 09:47 CET (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- With the aim to improve the level of provided service for ABLV Bank customers, who have mortgage loans, at the beginning of March service of all mortgage loans was moved to new specially equipped premises at 21a Elizabetes Street – to the exclusive house ownership “Elizabetes Park House”. We highly appreciate our mortgage customers. For this reason, we strived to create environment where a customer will feel a special, welcomed and important guest – in accordance with ABLV customer service standards that provide for custom-tailored and personal attitude. The new premises are a workplace for more than 30 officers who deal with mortgage loans. More than EUR 0.8 million were invested in reconstruction and equipping. The project was developed by the architecture and design bureau H2E.

The quality of the current bank’s loan portfolio is high; the problematic loan quantity has decreased significantly. Hence, balancing the business lines, we will continue developing mortgage lending as important and essential for the bank. Mortgage lending programme in EUR 10 million amount has been approved for 2014, in terms of which the loans will be mainly granted to long-term bank’s customers with an excellent history of cooperation and to those customers, who will be willing to purchase real estate from ABLV Group’s company Pillar.

“We foresee that the amount of granted mortgage loans in 2014 could amount to EUR 10 million in total”, said ABLV Bank’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Ernests Bernis, at the same time pointing out that operating income will increase by at least 15%, but the total bank’s profit in 2014 is planned not less than EUR 50 million.
