NEW YORK, March 12, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Snow storms, ice, rain, salt shortages — nothing knocks us down! The Bowling for Breastcancer.org annual fundraising event is rescheduled for Thursday, March 20. A popular part of this evening is the Lunches of a Lifetime silent auction, and for the first time, online bidding will be opened prior to the event at Charitybuzz.com/breastcancer.org beginning Thursday, March 6.

Lunches of a Lifetime is a unique opportunity to bid on a chance to spend quality time with a top executive from the advertising, publishing, digital, and technology communities, among others."We could not be more thrilled about the distinguished roster of participants who are willing to share their success stories and some valuable learnings from personal experience — all to help our cause," says Richy Glassberg, Medialets COO, Breastcancer.org Board Member, and NYC Bowling for Breastcancer.org event founder and co-chair. "Now, those unable to attend can still show their support by placing bids online at Charitybuzz.com/breastcancer.org through March 27."

This year's auction boasts some of the top strategic thinkers and influencers who shape the growth of the advertising industry, each who have graciously agreed to host a lunch awarded to the highest bidder. "We are so thankful for this distinguished group of executives who are generously supporting Breastcancer.org by participating in the auction and helping to meet annual fundraising goals," says Leslie Laredo, president, Laredo Group and Breastcancer.org Board Member.
