Respected Industry Veteran Greg Genovese Joins Capview Partners to Lead Equity Capital Markets Division

Industry Expert Brings Exceptional 26-Year Track Record in Real Estate Securities to Lead the Company's Investment Funds Distribution and Sales Platforms


DALLAS, March 17, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Capview Partners announced today that Greg Genovese, a 26-year veteran of the real estate securities industry, has joined the company as director of equity capital markets. He will lead and manage all aspects of the company's investment funds distribution and sales platforms, as well as co-lead the firm's investment funds and real estate securities development, advisory and marketing platforms.

Throughout his career, Genovese has held positions in executive management, distribution leadership, sales and marketing for some of the nation's most recognized and respected financial and real estate securities firms, including Grubb & Ellis Securities, Wells Real Estate Funds, Cowen & Co. and JPMorgan Chase & Co.; which have resulted in more than $4 billion in new equity investments for various Regulation D private placements, REIT, LLC, 1031 exchange programs, debt and IPO offerings.

Most recently, Genovese served as president and chief executive officer of US Global Realty Capital, where he formed a strategic alliance with Capview Partners in 2013. At USG he built the investment funds distribution platform, including the creation, management and supervision of the company's securities operations, marketing, sales, accounts management, private wealth management, RIA and capital wealth platforms.

Genovese graduated with a Bachelor of Science in economics with an applied concentration in investment and business economics from California Polytechnic University, as well as postgraduate studies at both Claremont Graduate University and Stanford University.

Genovese is a registered representative with FINRA, holding Series 6, 7, 22 and 63 licenses and is an active member of and contributor to NAREIT, REISA and the IPA, as well as a life member of the Financial Planning Association. He is also a founding shareholder of Bay Commercial Bank, headquartered in Walnut Creek, Calif., and Alpha Omega Winery in Napa, Calif. Genovese is based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
