Reterro Appoints Karen Reinhardt as Vice President, Strategic Marketing


PLEASANTON, Calif., March 18, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Reterro, Inc., an emerging green remediation leader in eliminating hydrocarbon contamination from soil and ongoing waste streams, announced today that Karen Reinhardt has joined the Company as Vice President, Strategic Marketing.

Ms. Reinhardt is a renowned, marketing expert, technologist and multi-reference book author. She has helped world market leaders to start up factories in the US, Europe, Japan, and South Korea. She has investigated and assessed unique new applications, optimized existing processes, and developed chemicals and equipment for semiconductor, photovoltaic, flat panel display, LED, and other high-technology applications. Her expertise includes the integration of next-generation techniques and technologies into volume operations to increase process performance while decreasing processing costs.

Among her areas of focus has been the development of environmentally friendly systems to replace solvent and semi-aqueous chemicals in the high-tech industry.

Her experience includes Strategic Marketing and Advanced R&D at Novellus Systems, a global leader in the semiconductor equipment industry. Prior to joining Novellus, Karen was Senior Member of the Technical Staff at AMD, where she led the start-up team for the etching, metrology, and cleaning area of one of the company's major fabs. 

A Continuing Education teacher at institutions including the University of California at Berkeley, Ms. Reinhardt received her BS degree in Chemistry from University of California at Riverside and her MS degree in Inorganic Chemistry from Texas Tech University. She holds eight patents and has contributed to more than 30 technical papers on processing techniques.
