Connecticut Water Rings NASDAQ Stock Market Closing Bell in Honor of World Water Day


CLINTON, Conn., March 20, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Representatives of Connecticut Water Service Inc. (Nasdaq:CTWS) will join with water industry colleagues to ring the closing bell of the NASDAQ Stock Market today in celebration of World Water Day. The company's subsidiaries provide a reliable supply of high quality water and world-class customer service to approximately 400,000 people in 77 Connecticut and Maine towns.

Eric Thornburg, President and CEO of Connecticut Water, will be joined by company employees who are directly involved in the Company's sustainable water and environmental stewardship initiatives. Water industry colleagues from Middlesex Water Company, The York Water Company and Artesian Resources Corporation will join Connecticut Water in ringing the closing bell at 4:00 p.m. ET.
