Caverion gets over EUR 11 million installation project in Norway

Caverion is to provide technical installations to a new office building by real estate company Rom Eiendom in Bergen, Norway. The value of the agreement is over EUR 11 million.  Caverion is to supply plumbing, ventilation, electrical installations, automation and building management systems. Caverion also has project planning responsibility for the technical systems.

The work will commence in August 2014, and completed in May 2016. The building is to have a total surface area of 15,000 m².

Caverion’s Jarle Rognø describes the design of the building as modern and different.

- Low-energy and environmentally friendly solutions are important to us, and we are constructing this building to the passive house standard. In addition, the building is to meet the BREEAM Very Good standard.

Caverion will deliver balanced ventilation with a high-efficiency rotating heat exchanger based on Caverion's patented KlimaTak system. The building will also have lighting systems equipped with motion and daylight sensors to give low power consumption for lighting. The heating to be installed will be a low temperature system, with air-water heat pumps and teleheating for peak consumption periods.
