Elektrėnai, Lithuania, 2014-03-25 12:25 CET (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- "Lietuvos energijos gamyba", AB (company code 302648707, registered office at Elektrinės str. 21, Elektrėnai) (the Company) informs that on 25 March, 2014 the Company, AB SEB bankas and Pohjola Bank plc signed a conformation on transfer rights and duties in stated in the Company and AB SEB bankas loan agreement signed on the 21 February, 2014 (Agreement). AB SEB bankas transferred its rights and duties in the amount of 55 000 000 EUR sum.
Note that the Company and AB SEB bankas on 21 February, 2014 signed a loan agreement for an amount up to 158.000.000 EUR. This Agreement states that AB SEB bankas, with a written consent of the Company, has right to transfer its part of rights and duties to other undertakings, which meets the requirements for qualification set out in the conditions of the Company's Invitation to submit application with documents required to prove qualification for the procurement of refinancing of loans services by negotiated procedure with publication of a contract notice.
Purpose of this agreement is to refinance three loans under the credit agreements with the banks, operating in Lithuania, and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. The combined cycle gas turbine construction project, flue gas treatment of particulate matter and sulfur oxides plant construction and installation project as well as other projects were funded by these loans.
