Deadline on May 5, 2014 in Lawsuit for Investors in Lifelock Inc (LOCK) Shares Announced by Shareholders Foundation

In March 2010 the Federal Trade Commission ("FTC") filed a complaint against Lifelock Inc and its CEO, alleging, among other things, that Lifelock Inc issued misleading advertisements and guarantees to customers regarding its identity theft protection services. Later in March 2010 Lifelock Inc entered into a settlement order with the FTC mandating that the Company no longer engage in deceptive marketing practices.

On February 19, 2014, the company announced that it had met with the FTC regarding alleged non-compliance with the settlement order, after a whistleblower had discussed certain violations with the FTC.

The plaintiff alleges that that the defendants made between February 26, 2013 and February 19, 2014 allegedly false and/or misleading statements and/or failed to disclose that Lifelock Inc's marketing and advertising practices were in direct violation of applicable government rules and regulations, that Lifelock Inc was in direct violation of the Settlement Order, that Lifelock Inc's revenues were earned through violations of the FTC Act and the Settlement Order, and that as a result of the above, Lifelock Inc's financial statements were materially false and misleading at all relevant times.

Plaintiff seeks to recover damages on behalf of all purchasers of Lifelock Inc publicly traded securities between February 26, 2013 and February 19, 2014.
