CAMPBELL, Calif., March 26, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- ForeScout Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of pervasive network security solutions for Fortune 2000 enterprises and government organizations, today announced the upcoming roster of Best Practices Seminars. The free, content-rich seminars are designed to offer customers and partners an opportunity to learn how to gain the best possible value from their CounterACT deployments through discussion, customer case studies, hands-on training, peer feedback and Q-and-A sessions.

"I highly recommend attending the ForeScout Best Practices Seminars as they are a great way to expand your knowledge and learn all that CounterACT can do," said Raul Rivera, manager, communication and security at GFR Media. "The sessions are highly valuable with expert customers sharing insights, tips and techniques for getting the most out of CounterACT. There is ample opportunity to network with peers, and I received many ideas for extending my use of CounterACT to not only see all devices attached to my network but also for establishing policies to help me automatically remediate issues."

These two-day seminars offer the following tracks:

  • Management Sessions: These sessions focus on how users can drive the most value from their CounterACT deployment by taking the processes to the next level, with topics such as: policy recommendations for mobile and BYOD, how to measure return on investment (ROI) and product features discussions

  • Technical Sessions: These presentations center on ForeScout technology, technical reviews, integrations with third-party systems, hands-on learning labs and customer cases

All sessions will also include an overview of the ForeScout ControlFabric™ platform that enables CounterACT and other IT solutions to exchange information and mitigate a wide variety of network, security and operational issues. Attendees will receive information and demos on the ControlFabric interface. Healthcare will be a focus at both the Orlando, Fla. and London sessions, with presentations devoted to discussions about the specific security requirements facing today's medical organizations. Larry Allen, vice president of information technology, CIO, Healthcare Network of Southwest Florida, will deliver the keynote address at the Orlando event. The event in Washington, D.C. will focus on cybersecurity in the federal environment and will feature a keynote address by Scott Montgomery, CTO, McAfee.
