Coming to Lowell: Mass Innovation Nights New Product Launch Party

Free Event Taps Power of Social Media to Promote New Local Products

LOWELL, MA--(Marketwired - Mar 31, 2014) - On Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at 6 p.m., the Merrimack Valley Sandbox will host the latest Mass Innovation Night (MIN), a grassroots event designed to leverage the social media community and showcase a wide range of new and innovative products from local companies. The MV Sandbox, which boosts the economic and social well-being of greater Lowell and Lawrence by advancing entrepreneurship and innovation, will host this sixty-first monthly gathering of innovators, business experts, and social media mavens at its location at 175 Cabot St., Lowell. To RSVP, go to Mass.InnovationNights.com.

"Lowell has a vibrant entrepreneurial community," said Bobbie Carlton, co-founder of Innovation Nights. "Our goal is not only showcasing the best local technology, new products and other innovation, but also providing valuable networking opportunities for the local business community. We look forward to working with the Merrimack Valley Sandbox."

David Parker, executive director of the Merrimack Valley Sandbox, said, "Mass Innovation Nights does a wonderful job of promoting new products and connecting entrepreneurs with a business network -- it's a great fit with what we do here at the Merrimack Valley Sandbox. We hope this collaboration will help get the word out about the exciting things happening with entrepreneurship in the Lowell and Lawrence area."

Mass Innovation Nights events are free to attend, but attendees are asked to "tell" someone else, either through a blog post, a tweet, a Facebook mention, or simply by talking with a friend. A single event can generate hundreds of tweets, blog posts, status updates, online video and pictures. The products being presented in April are:
