Caverion continues building management in Technical University of Munich in Germany

Caverion continues the building management of The Technical University of Munich at the Garching campus also in the future. The agreement is a continuation to already long-standing co-operation.

Campus area is covering around 295,000 m². More than two dozen Caverion staff members are employed in the area to ensure the management and operations as well as the availability of the technical building installations. The 24-hour monitoring of the equipment is carried out through a central building management system.

Thanks to the clear synergies in its end-to-end management concept and process optimisation in facility management, Caverion was able to stand out from the crowd in a pan-European public tender procedure.

Caverion is also responsible for energy management in several departments of the Technical University and the Ludwig Maximilian University at the Garching campus. Infrastructural facility management responsibilities include also for example the security of the buildings, providing guard services, cleaning, janitorial services and groundskeeping services.
