Mitel Files Transition Report for Fiscal Year Ended December 31, 2013

OTTAWA, March 31, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Mitel Networks Corporation (Nasdaq:MITL) (TSX:MNW) today announced that it has filed its transition report on Form 10-K with financial results for the eight month period ended December 31, 2013 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and with the Canadian securities regulatory authorities. As previously announced, Mitel changed its fiscal year end from April 30th to December 31st in connection with the acquisition of Aastra Technologies Ltd. on January 31, 2014. The Form 10-K containing Mitel's financial results for the eight months ended December 31, 2013 is available on the investor relations portion of Mitel's website (www.mitel.com), on EDGAR (www.sec.gov) and on SEDAR (www.sedar.com). These financial results exclude the results of Aastra Technologies Ltd, which was acquired by Mitel after the end of the period covered by the transition report. Mitel does not plan on conducting an investor conference call with respect to these financial results. Mitel will host an investor conference call after it reports its first quarter financial results for the period ending March 31, 2014. The company will issue a press release with the date, time and dial-in number for that call shortly after the first quarter of fiscal 2014 is completed.
