On March 27, 2014, Ms Solveigh Dr. Backes, Deutschland has informed us
according to Article 21, Section 1 of the WpHG that via shares her Voting
Rights on AREAL Immobilien und Beteiligungs-AG, Essen, Deutschland, have
exceeded the 5% threshold of the Voting Rights on March 27, 2014 and
on that day amounted to 8.04% (this corresponds to 140721 Voting Rights).
8.04% of Voting Rights (this corresponds to 140721 Voting Rights) are
attributed to Ms Dr. Backes in accordance with Article 22, Section 1,
Sentence 1, No. 6 of the WpHG (German Securities Trading Act). Attributed
Voting Rights are held by the following sharholders, whose
share of the Voting Rights in AREAL Immobilien und Beteiligungs-AG amounts
to 3 percent or more: WB Immobilien GmbH.
