German American Bancorp Named to the Top 10% of Community Banks -- Second Annual Raymond James Community Bankers Cup


JASPER, Ind., April 2, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- German American Bancorp, Inc. (Nasdaq:GABC), has announced that it was recognized as among the top 10 percent of U.S. community banks, based on the Company's inclusion as a member of the second annual Raymond James Community Bankers Cup, according to a report published by Raymond James & Associates.

The Raymond James Community Bankers Cup recipients were identified based on profitability, operational efficiency and balance sheet metrics. The pool of community banks considered for recognition includes all exchange-traded domestic banks, excluding mutual holding companies and potential acquisition targets, with total assets between $500 million and $10 billion as of December 31, 2013 Raymond James, a leading investment banking and financial advisory firm, analyzed more than 300 community banks across the United States for the awards.
