Tendenci Appoints Scott Pederson Vice President

Returns 17 Years After Helping Launch Developer of Tendenci Open Source CMS Platform


HOUSTON, April 2, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Tendenci (www.tendenci.com), the software development company spearheading the Tendenci® Open Source Content Management System (CMS) project for associations and other nonprofits (NPOs), has appointed technology veteran Scott Pederson vice president. Pederson, returns nearly two decades after helping launch the company that later became Tendenci. He reports to Founder and CEO Ed Schipul.

Pederson brings more than 23 years of technology experience to Tendenci with a particular focus on process improvement and change management resulting in exceptional customer experience.

Prior to joining Tendenci, Pederson served as Director of Engineering with Telespace LLC. Previously, Pederson was Director, IT Operations with eLoyalty Corporation and he worked in the Commercial Desktop Division of Hewlett-Packard. In the mid-1990s, Pederson also was on the team that helped establish Schipul Technologies, which later became Tendenci.
