ArmourLite Expands Line of Isobrite Eclipse and Valor Series T100 Tritium Illuminated Watches at Baselworld 2014

Baselworld runs March 27 to April 3, 2014, in Messe Basel, Switzerland

NORTH MIAMI BEACH, Fla., April 3, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- ArmourLite is expanding its line of Isobrite T100 tritium illuminated watches. The expansion announced on the last day of Baselworld 2014 in Switzerland sees the Isobrite Eclipse Series now offer six models and the Isobrite Valor Series now offer eight models.

The Isobrite line of watches feature T100 tritium illumination, the world's brightest, combined with ultra lightweight polycarbonate construction. The T100 tritium markers offer up to four times more brightness than a standard tritium illuminated watch.

The new models announced today are ISO211, ISO212, ISO213-MIL in the Eclipse Series and ISO311, ISO312, and ISO313 in the Valor Series. Each watch features ultra lightweight polycarbonate case construction with anti-reflective scratch resistant sapphire crystal. Swiss Ronda 715Li quartz movements with 10-year lithium batteries power the watches while Swiss T100 tritium markers provide 20+ years of continuous illumination. A unidirectional rotating bezel with two tritium markers on each watch is ideal for keeping elapsed time. For the avid diver or outdoorsmen, the watches offer 200m of water resistance. Each of the new models comes with a comfortable black polyurethane bracelet. Polyurethane bracelets are similar in appearance to stainless steel bracelets, but much more lightweight.

The watches in the Isobrite Eclipse Series and Valor Series offer the following features:
-    Ultra bright T100 tritium illumination that's up to four times brighter than the leading T25 models
-    Ultra lightweight polycarbonate case construction
-    Ronda 715Li Swiss quartz movement with a 10-year lithium battery
-    Anti-reflective scratch resistant sapphire crystal
-    200m water resistance rated for diving
-    Unidirectional elapsed-time bezel with two tritium markers
-    Zippered travel case with an extra nylon nato-style band

The hands, number markers, and bezel on the Isobrite watches feature small, self-luminous tritium-filled vials. This safe and reliable permanent illumination technology allows the user to easily tell the time at a glance, even in the darkest lighting conditions. Tritium illumination is commonly used for the instrument dials in aircraft, compasses and night sights for weapons since it does not require a battery or external power supply and it remains constantly illuminated for 20+ years.
