AssetWorks Announces Speakers for 2014 Asset Management Users Conference in Denver, Colorado

Steven Weidner, Director of the Bureau of Vehicle Management for the Department of General Services (DGS) With the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to Deliver Keynote Address

WAYNE, Pa., April 3, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- AssetWorks, a leading provider of fleet management software, automated fuel management systems, motor pool systems, and operational asset management systems, announced today the selected speakers for the Asset Management Users Conference, April 13 to 17, 2014 in Denver, Colorado.

The Users Conference is the ultimate fleet, fuel and operational asset training event, featuring four days of continuing education and networking. Speakers for the AssetWorks Users Conference have been selected from amongst AssetWorks large customer base of over 550 customers, including more than 200 cities and counties in North America.

AssetWorks is pleased to welcome Mr. Steven Weidner as the 2014 keynote speaker. Mr. Weidner serves as the Director of the Bureau of Vehicle Management for the Department of General Services (DGS) with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. He leads the overall strategic direction of one of the nation's largest fleets with 16,505 vehicles and services 67 agencies within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Mr. Weidner and his bureau were the recent recipients of Governor Corbett's "Innovation of the Year" award in 2013. Over the past three years, he has worked on reducing the overall size and cost of the state fleet resulting in an estimated $60 million in taxpayer savings and a decrease of nearly 2,500 vehicles (24%).
