The preliminary sales revenues of SC Klaipedos nafta for March 2014 amounts to LTL 10.8 million (EUR 3.1 million); that is less by 22.9 percent less compared to March 2013 (i.e. LTL 14.0 million or EUR 4.1 million).
The preliminary sales revenues of the Company during the first quarter of 2014 comprise LTL 30.9 million (EUR 8.9 million) and are lower by 26.8 percent compared to the same period of 2013 (LTL 42.2 or EUR 12.2 million).
During March 2014 the Company reloaded 306 thousand tons of oil products into its storage tanks while during the March 2013 - 746 thousand tons. The transhipment in the first quarter of 2014, compared to the same period of 2013, is lower by 47.4 percent.
The reduced transhipment was influenced mainly by the fact that the major client of the Company AB Orlen Lietuva delivered less products in the terminal because have reduced manufacturing volume of oil products in connection with the dropped oil product margins. Moreover, in March 2014 the refinery in Mazeikiai refinery unit has been temporary stopped for the repair.
