Alan Gold Joins Board of Advisors of Nonprofit Organization Dedicated to Biotech History

SAN FRANCISCO, April 4, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Life Sciences Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to capturing the history, preserving the heritage and sharing the stories of biotechnology, appoints Alan Gold to its board of advisors.

Alan Gold has been involved in the development of commercial life science properties for nearly 30 years and founded the business model of institutional investment in life science real estate. In 1998, he cofounded Bernardo Property Advisors, Inc., the privately held predecessor to BioMed Realty. Before that, he served as president and as a director of Alexandria Real Estate Equities, Inc. BioMed Realty is currently active in all of the leading U.S. life science markets.
