Green PolkaDot Box Enters Into Fundraising Agreement With Knights of Columbus, Arizona Council to Provide Clean Organic and Non-GMO Food to Needy Families Through the Saint Vincent De Paul Society

MOUNT PLEASANT, Utah, April 10, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Green PolkaDot Box Incorporated (OTC:GPDB) ("the Box" or the "Company"), America's first and only online membership club dedicated to providing clean organic and non-GMO foods to its members at true wholesale prices with free home delivery, announced today that it has entered into a marketing and promotion agreement with the Arizona Council of the Knights of Columbus to solicit membership in the Box. In exchange, the Company will contribute 30% of the annual membership fees and renewals along with $2 from every subsequent order received from members who are referred by the Knights of Columbus. The proceeds donated by Green PolkaDot Box will provide clean, organic and non-GMO foods to individuals and families in need who are living within the boundaries of the 129 Parishes of the St. Vincent de Paul Society in Arizona.

The Knights of Columbus is a fraternal organization with an estimated 25,000 members in Arizona who engage in philanthropic activities on behalf of the St. Vincent de Paul Society. This new campaign to promote healthy eating and membership in Green PolkaDot Box will reach an estimated 1,000,000 Catholics who are members of the St. Vincent de Paul Society in Arizona. The money received by referring members to Green PolkaDot Box will be used to provide healthy foods to potentially thousands of individuals and families whom, without this support, would rarely, if ever, have the opportunity to consume clean organic and non-GMO food products.

"This fundraiser with Green PolkaDot Box will allow our council to be the first to support St. Vincent through a healthy eating program for our parish families," said Al Muglia, Grand Knight for All Saints Council #9485 in Mesa, Arizona. "We expect this campaign to be a success both for the families and our local St. Vincent de Paul Society at All Saints Parish."

"We are ecstatic about this opportunity to work hand-in-hand with the Knights of Columbus in this worthy cause," added Rod Smith, CEO of Green PolkaDot Box. "Making clean food affordable and available to all consumers is our primary mission, and this partnership will go a long way toward educating the Parishioners in the St. Vincent de Paul Society about the health benefits of eating organic and non-GMO foods while providing valuable sustenance to those in need."

Kevin McCarthy, District Deputy at the Knights of Columbus, also lent his endorsement, "The Knights of Columbus mission is to support charitable organizations within our communities, and the opportunity to join Green Polka Dot Box is a new, easy way for our members to support Saint Vincent de Paul." Roger R. White, Deputy Grand Knight at the Knights of Columbus #9485, further commented, "This is a great opportunity for the Knights of Columbus and St. Vincent de Paul to continue their missions of giving to the more unfortunate, while eating healthy ourselves."

"We are very grateful for the help in feeding healthy food to families we support at Saint Vincent de Paul and are thankful for the support of the Knights of Columbus," added William Mulcahey of the St. Vincent de Paul Society.

Marketing and sales efforts to promote Green PolkaDot Box membership is scheduled to commence on April 27th and continue through the remainder of 2014.
