no 44/14 Risk Parameter Update


Risk parameters for Nordic and German Power will be updated due to observed increase in volatility and decreased price levels on the electricity contracts.

The updated parameters will have impact on the calculation of the daily margin requirement for which collateral must be posted by 10:30 CET on Thursday, April 17, 2014.

Margin curves for Nordic Power, German Power and certain EPAD contracts will be increased, which will lead to increased margin requirements for naked positions in these contracts, otherwise margin requirements will be relatively unchanged. Updated margin curves can be found at:
