SHERBROOKE, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - April 17, 2014) - Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages Shelly Glover today announced $64,600 in funding for the 11th OFF Festival des harmonies et orchestres symphoniques du Québec, which will take place in Sherbrooke from May 1 to 25, 2014.
This funding, provided by the Government of Canada through the Local Festivals component of the Building Communities Through Arts and Heritage program, will help promote musical activity in Sherbrooke through music initiation workshops, concert-meals, evening shows, and outdoor concerts.
