Elekta Nomination Committee’s proposed Board of Directors for 2014 Annual General Meeting


Stockholm, April 17 – The Nomination Committee of Elekta AB (publ) proposes that
the 2014 Annual General Meeting reelect Board members Laurent Leksell, Hans
Barella, Luciano Cattani, Siaou-Sze Lien, Wolfgang Reim, Jan Secher, Birgitta
Stymne Göransson and Tomas Puusepp. It is proposed that Laurent Leksell be
reelected as Chairman of the Board. The Nomination Committee’s proposal entails
that the number of Board members will continue to be eight.
The Nomination Committee’s other proposals to the Annual General Meeting to be
held on August 28, 2014 will be available from the company’s website in
conjunction with the publication of the notice of the Annual General Meeting.

The Nomination Committee prior to the 2014 Annual General Meeting comprises the
following members:

  · Laurent Leksell (Chairman), appointed by the Leksell family for the family’s
direct and indirect holdings and in his capacity as Chairman of the Board.
  · Åsa Nisell, appointed by Swedbank Robur Funds
  · Anders Oscarsson, appointed by AMF and AMF Funds
  · Peter Rudman, appointed by Nordea Funds
  · Erik Sjöström, appointed by Skandia
  · Caroline Leksell Cooke, co-opted member
