Robert Flack Named Vice President, Business Development


ROCHESTER, N.Y., April 17, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Transcat, Inc. (Nasdaq:TRNS) ("Transcat" or the "Company"), a leading provider of accredited calibration, repair, inspection and compliance services and distributor of professional grade handheld test, measurement and control instrumentation, announced that Rob Flack has joined Transcat as Vice President, Business Development. In this role, Mr. Flack will be responsible for corporate and business development and will report to Lee Rudow, Transcat's President and CEO.

Mr. Flack brings more than 15 years of industry experience and specific knowledge in strategic planning, business development, acquisitions and laboratory operations. Most recently, Mr. Flack worked at Flack Consulting/ADG Creative and Tektronix Service Solutions where he had been Director of Sales for the Americas. Prior to that, he spent eleven years at Davis Calibration in varying leadership roles to include Vice President of Operations and Vice President of Business Development.
