Allianz Global Investors Europe GmbH, Frankfurt, Germany, informed us on
April 17, 2014 in accordance with Section 21 Paragraph 1 of the German
Securities Trading Act (WpHG) that its share of voting rights in Symrise AG
exceeded the 3 % threshold on April 15, 2014 and as of this day amounts to
3.02 %. This corresponds to 3,568,179 votes.

This 1.18 % (1,395,241 votes) is attributed to it in accordance with
Section 22 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 No. 6 of the German Securities Trading
Act (WpHG).
