FASTSIGNS(R) Receives High Honors for Franchisee Satisfaction in Canada

Canadian Franchise Association Recognizes the Signage & Visual Graphics Franchise for Its Dedication to Superior Franchisee Relations, Team Work and Communication

CARROLLTON, Texas, April 17, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Constantly receiving top ratings by U.S. organizations for its high levels of franchisee satisfaction, FASTSIGNS International, Inc.—the worldwide franchisor for the more than 545 FASTSIGNS® sign, graphic and visual communications centers—has been recognized by an industry organization for reflecting that same commitment to its Canadian franchise partners.

The franchisor was a Silver finalist in the "Traditional – Mature Franchises" category of the 2014 Canadian Franchise Association (CFA) Award of Excellence in Franchising, and was also named a Franchisee Choice designee for the third consecutive year. Both awards were presented to FASTSIGNS on April 7, 2014 during a Gala Awards Presentation at the CFA National Convention in Niagara Falls, Ontario, where the company was also recognized for 20 years of continuous membership with the CFA.

Voted on by Canadian franchise partners, the CFA Awards of Excellence in Franchising are open exclusively to CFA members who have been franchising for three or more years, and recognize excellence in franchise operations. The winning franchise systems were chosen based on results of a survey completed by member franchisors and franchisees about their experiences with their franchise system and colleagues.

CFA President and Chief Executive Officer, Lorraine McLachlan, said the franchises that were awarded demonstrate a dedication to superior franchisee relations, team work and communication. She explained, "The CFA Awards of Excellence in Franchising truly set the benchmark for franchises throughout Canada. And, because the awards are based on franchisee responses, it is a significant honour for a franchise system to be so highly regarded."

With 23 centers throughout Canada and an additional eight new centers currently under development, the signage and visual graphics franchisor's main focuses are maintaining an open line of communication within the franchise system and helping make franchise partners more profitable.

"The relationship between a franchisor and a franchisee is truly a partnership. That's why it's important for us to ensure the happiness of our franchisees and that we are providing them with all the tools and support they need to be successful," said Mark Jameson, Executive Vice President of Franchise Support and Development at FASTSIGNS. "This recognition is a testament to the dedication of our team's efforts and focus in putting franchise partners first. We are very proud of this achievement – it's the ultimate compliment from our Canadian franchise partners."

The Franchise Research Institute and Franchise Business Review have also recently recognized FASTSIGNS for outstanding franchisee satisfaction and support.
