Northrop Grumman Sets New Greenhouse Gas Emission Reduction Goal of 30 Percent by 2020


FALLS CHURCH, Va. – April 22, 2014 – Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) announced today its commitment to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 30 percent from 2010 levels by 2020, as part of its commemoration of Earth Day.

Northrop Grumman's environmental sustainability program employs a strategy that balances energy and resource use reductions with alternative and renewable technology to achieve emissions reductions. In addition to GHG reduction, the company has deployed solid waste generation and water use best management practices, and is on track to achieve its targets in all these areas by the end of 2014.
