Leading CEO to Keynote Global Ecommerce Event

The MRC today announced that Gareth Davis will keynote its 2014 European
Congress, 14-16 May in Paris, France. Gareth Davis, current chairman of William
Hill PLC, a leading online gambling company, will share the importance of
meeting global demands through targeted growth strategies in a cost efficient
environment.
'Gareth is one of the most forward thinking and influential business leaders of
our time, having spent nearly four decades generating profitable results
through corporate transformation,' said MRC Managing Director of Europe Nicolas
Vedrenne.
Gareth served at the helm of Imperial Tobacco for 14 years and in 2010, he was
selected as the 13th best performing CEO in the world by the Harvard Business
Review. In addition to serving as the chairman of William Hill PLC, Davis also
serves as the chairman of Wolseley PLC and DS Smith PLC.
MRC's 2014 European Congress is the largest educational event for ecommerce
payments and fraud professionals in Europe, hosting 400 payments and fraud
professionals, 100 speakers and 130 content sessions. This three-day intensive
training will consist of content developed and delivered by top merchant
professionals, including Google, Microsoft, Air France and FEVAD, to name a
few.
