Top Image Systems Wins eFLOW(R) Digital Mailroom Project for Leading Automotive Retailer

TEL AVIV, Israel, April 23, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Top Image Systems Ltd. (Nasdaq:TISA) a leading ECM (Enterprise Content Management) and BPM (Business Process Management) solution and MIP (Mobile Imaging Platform) provider announced today that Top Image Systems has won a Digital Mailroom project at the largest Israeli automotive retailer. Representing four major global automotive brands, the company imports private and commercial vehicles, trucks and buses. To maintain 1000 employees, ten showrooms and 59 service centers and manage new and used car sales, automotive maintenance and repairs, financing and insurance operations, the company is faced with tough logistical and administrative challenges to run efficient business operations.  To meet this challenge, they selected eFLOW® Digital Mailroom to automate and accelerate document-driven business processes.

Traditionally, decentralized branch offices scanned large quantities of documents – leasing agreements, insurance policies, purchase contracts and many more, and transferred them all to a head office.   By equipping the branches with eFLOW to automatically capture and recognize the different documents directly at the point of origin and transfer the data immediately to the people and systems targeted to respond to them, processes are completed faster while errors and manual data entry costs are substantially reduced. The company aims to more efficiently reallocate its labor force and greatly accelerate document processing.

Following a successful pilot by TIS and local partner Integrity Software, who will provide first level support and services, the retailer selected eFLOW Digital Mailroom over the competition. In order to streamline back office operations, the retailer wants to achieve high recognition rates and increase the ratio of straight-through processing for a wide range of documentation. Faster, more accurate and orderly document processing, easier access to documents and higher visibility into business processes will enable the back office to improve responsiveness to customers and give better service to the entire company. Following the implementation of Digital Mailroom, the customer plans to expand the project to automate supplier invoice processing in the second phase.

"eFLOW Digital Mailroom is a powerful solution that enables businesses of any magnitude to introduce and maintain efficient document-driven processes that save time and money," commented Yoss Perl, Executive Director EMEA for TIS. "Savvy businesses worldwide are increasingly aware that to stay competitive, they must leverage process automation technologies that enable faster, smarter and more efficient operations; TIS serves to help these companies meet such challenges and maintain a competitive edge."
