The Hip Hop Hall of Fame Museum Launches $35 Founding Fans VIP Membership Drive With First 350,000 Being Included in Fan Wall of Fame in Hip Hop Museum


NEW YORK, April 24, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Hip Hop Hall of Fame Awards TV Show, and the Hip Hop Hall of Fame + Museum are set to announce the first 2014 Inductees into the Hip Hop Hall of Fame during the official press conference at 1pm on Thursday April 24th at the National Black Theater in Harlem, NYC.

The Hip Hop Hall of Fame Awards Show Induction Ceremony & Concert will take place on Monday May 19th at the Stage 48 in Manhattan at 8pm. Tickets go on-sale on Monday the 28th of April. This will be the first broadcast of the show since it aired in national syndication and on the BET Cable Network in the 1990s. Proceeds will benefit the Hip Hop Hall of Fame Museum opening in Midtown Manhattan in 2016.

The Press Conference will also kick-off an aggressive Founding Fans VIP Membership Drive. The first 350,000 Fans to join for $35 at http://hiphophof.org will be 'enshrined' in a real life 'Fan Wall of Fame Exhibit' inside the Hip Hop Museum with their picture, and a 20 second video clip of why they love hip hop when it opens in 2016. The facility will serve 1,000,000 visitors, fans, tourists, and students annually. It will produce estimated 300 jobs, internships, host over 200 live events and educational programs for people of all ages.
