Beijer Electronics Annual Report 2013

Sharpened competitiveness, through continued high pace of product development as
well as strategic partnerships and acquisitions, was the focus of the company
during the past year. More information about this is available in Beijer
Electronics' 2013 Annual Report, published today in English on the company’s
website, www.beijerelectronics.se.
Beijer Electronics strengthened its position with the launch of a much-expanded
product offering under own brand within the technology areas HMI, control and
drive and several product launches within industrial data communication, among
other activities.

The group continued its geographical expansion acquiring the Turkish automation
company Petek Teknoloji Ltd., which has represented Beijer Electronics since
2005. The acquisition provides a direct access to a new market for Beijer
Electronics’ complete product portfolio.

While the sales for the year in general were characterized by the hesitant
economy, sales within Industrial Data Communication achieved organic growth of
ten percent. Almost half of these sales are now sourced from new products
developed in recent years.

In his comments on the year, President and CEO Fredrik Jönsson said:
” Forward-looking and customer-oriented product development is the route to
success on our market, and we maintained a high tempo of product development in
2013. Our goal-oriented focus on development for specific market segments, such
as Train, paid off convincingly in the year.”

The Annual Report is available on the company’s website in English and Swedish.
