Business is Booming for California CORFAC International Firms

Moreno Valley, CA: David Prior, SIOR, Todd Taugner, SIOR and Frank Schluz, SIOR, with Torrance-based The Klabin Company/CORFAC International represented Batvia, IL-based ALDI in the acquisition of 55-acres of land in Moreno Valley (north of Los Angeles) with plans to build an 850,000-square-foot Southern California headquarters and distribution facility. ALDI is a national leader in the low-priced grocery business and plans to open 650 new stores nationwide over the next five years. Raymond Walker, SIOR, of Atlanta, GA, also participated in the deal by providing consulting services for ALDI.

Westminster, CA: In an expansion for one of the biggest brands in motorcycles, Mike Bouma, and Paul Caputo in Voit Real Estate Services/CORFAC International's Anaheim office successfully directed the lease of three industrial buildings consisting of 41,939 square feet on behalf of Harley Davidson of Westminster/Huntington Beach. Located at 15044, 15051, and 15080 Goldenwest Circle in Westminster, the new Harley Davidson showroom provides excellent frontage on the San Diego (I-405) freeway and also provided the motorcycle dealer with more showroom, service and storage space.

San Jose, CA: Josh Gispan with Meacham Oppenheimer/CORFAC International in San Jose and Barry Bram, LEED, AP with TRI Commercial/CORFAC International in San Francisco represented McCarthy Building Companies, Inc. in a North San Jose, 7,000-square-foot office lease, launching the general contractor's full-service office expansion into Silicon Valley. The office will offer greater accessibility to McCarthy's Peninsula and South Bay clients, such as Stanford University and the Irvine Company, and strategically position the company in one of the country's fastest-growing and most economically vibrant regions. McCarthy has been a client of Barry Bram's for years in San Francisco.

Sacramento, CA: Drew Wheatley with TRI Commercial/CORFAC International in Roseville represented property owner B&W Vertical Ventures LLC in a 99,000-square-foot lease to Rex Moore Electric Contractors & Engineers at 3900 Florin Perkins Road in Sacramento. Founded in 1922, Rex Moore is a family owned and managed company, performing electrical and integrated systems engineering, construction and maintenance.
